Film vs. Books! "The Ultimate Showdown"

What can film do that a book can not? First off, you can see it (duh). It is a visual experience and you can see everything. Secondly, film shows you a characters appearance and features unlike a book which names only important details on a character's appearance. Movies/films give you everything on screen and you just sit and watch. It sounds almost lazy, but still very fun and entertaining.

With a book, you can visualize evrything in your head. Now a movie/film does this for you, but it isn't the same. The reason why is because of imagination! You make everything up in your head. What people look like, what the setting looks like, night or day. Sometimes a book tells you details on what a person looks like, but usually you must figure it out on your own.

I like movies/films more because I see what is happening. I'm also lazy and hate reading so that could sway my answer. Trulthfully, books should be better sense you can do more in text that on the bigscreen. Which is why Directors cut so much when adapting a book to a film. Not to mention writers have to do a bit more work, in my opinion. Honestly though both are really good, I just like film more than a book.
